These terms govern your use of FastLRN, on the web and in the FastLRN iOS app. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.
Accounts
You need an account to use FastLRN. Keep your password to yourself and tell us if you think someone else has it. You are responsible for activity under your account. Instructor accounts are granted by request and approval; student accounts are enrolled by an instructor.
The FastLRN iOS app is for students. Instructors manage courses on the web.
Acceptable use
Do not use FastLRN to:
- break the law, or violate your institution’s academic integrity policy;
- harass anyone, or try to make the tutor produce harmful, hateful, or sexually explicit content;
- access another person’s account or a course you are not enrolled in, or probe, scrape, or overload the service;
- upload material you do not have the right to upload.
We may suspend or remove an account that does these things.
AI-generated content
Tutor replies are generated by an AI model. They can be wrong, incomplete, or misleading. They are a study aid, not an authoritative source, and they are not a substitute for your course materials, your instructor, or professional advice. Verify anything that matters. Whether AI assistance is permitted on a given assignment is set by your instructor and your institution, not by us.
If a reply is inaccurate, harmful, or inappropriate, report it from the message. We review reports and may adjust course configuration or suspend accounts in response.
Your content
You keep ownership of what you write and what instructors upload. You grant us the limited right to store and process it in order to run the service — retrieval, generating replies, and showing conversations to the course instructor as described in the Privacy Policy.
Availability
FastLRN is provided as-is, without warranties of any kind. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may change or discontinue features. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for academic outcomes arising from your use of the service.
Ending your use
You can delete your account at any time from your account menu, on the web or in the iOS app. Deletion is permanent and removes your profile, conversations, and enrollments.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected in the “last updated” date above; continuing to use FastLRN after a change means you accept it.
